Thank you for this, Mason. I appreciated this so much. I grew up in the church and was very much in the purity culture. My parents sheltered me so much but it didn’t help because at the same time I went through molestation and also developed a major addiction to porn that took seventeen years to get over. I wish my parents were people I felt comfortable going to and discussing this subject with but they weren’t. Now that I am a parent I am working on being more approachable with my kids on this subject.
